Why doesn't good SEO work 100% of the time?
Good SEO work is effective 100% of the time, but often a Internet Marketing Consultant is faced with the problem that he needs to do something to the website and the business owner does not agree to it.
Are your services guaranteed to make my website #1 on Google for all of my keywords? Can I pay you after you get me to #1 on Google?
A very common question is can I pay you after you make me tons of money with SEO. The answer is no. I typically get paid in four hour increments and I require payment prior to doing the work. SEO is very labor intensive work and I just can’t do that work for free. While I can’t guarantee results my reputation is the most valuable asset I have and I certainly don’t want customers leaving me upset. If I take on a project and it becomes clear in the first week or so that the website is just a hot mess, just a complete disaster, and it can’t be optimized, then I will agree to refund part or all of your money as a professional courtesy. I should mention that pay for performance SEO companies are ALWAYS a scam! Once they get your website to the third or fourth page of search results you do have to pay them and I can guarantee you will never advance to the first page of Google because these companies are not actually doing any labor to get you there. Automated linking can only do so much!
How long does it take to get great results?
Although I have accomplished great results for clients in as little as 2 months I would say 4 months is typical. The number of hours per month that I am working for a client certainly plays a part in this timeline.
